Privacy notice
This notice explains what we collect when you use liftguide.ca, why we collect it, who sees it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email if provided, postal code, and what you told us about your stairs and timing. If you only read the site, we collect [placeholder: describe analytics, e.g. anonymous usage statistics with no advertising trackers].
Why
To send your request to up to two installers you agreed to hear from, to keep a record of your consent, and, if you opted in, to send you our email guide.
Who sees it
The named installers your request was sent to, our form and email service providers under contract, and our staff. We never sell your information to anyone other than the installers you agree to hear from.
Where it is stored

Ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by emailing privacy@liftguide.ca or by mail once our mailing address is published on the contact page. You can withdraw a quote request at any time and we will tell the installers to stop contacting you.
Email consent
We send commercial electronic messages only with your express consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every email identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link that works within 10 days, [placeholder: confirm processing time].
